ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever says upon hearing the call [to prayer] (1). 'O God, Lord of this perfect call and of this lasting prayer, grant Muhammad the Wasīlah (2) and the superiority, and raise him up to the praiseworthy position which You have promised him,' shall deserve the intercession (of the Prophet) on the Day of Resurrection." Footnotes: (1) After the call has been completed. (2) The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, explained what al-Wasīlah is in another hadīth in which he said, "Indeed, it is a station in Paradise which is not suitable except for a slave from amongst the slaves of God." ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الدعوات باب [ قول الله إن رحمتى تغلب غضبى ]

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حِينَ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِى تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِى. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ.
